I'll admit it, I'm a massage snob. I get massages as often as I would like because I haven't found anyone or anywhere in the Bay Area that made it worthwhile (ditto for Boston). While perusing citysearch for a place to take my boyfriend for his first massage, I came upon this place. They were able to get the two of us in on a day's notice and were WONDERFUL. Julie was great, best massage I've ever had, but the atmosphere is phenomenal in the adding to the relaxation. You are welcomed as a friend and treated that way from start to finish. Not like some pretentious and uppity spas that seem to multiply exponentially and treat you like you're doing them a favor by coming in. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Candace gives the best massage I've ever had. She makes the entire experience enjoyable and relaxing from start to finish. It's amazing that such a tiny girl has such a powerful touch. In a perfect world I'd start off each day with massage by Candace.

Thanks to Corey I can open my jaw without it clicking or getting stuck. I have had horrible TMJ for the last 10 years and after numerous nightguards and dentists advice I decided to try something different. Corey's TMJ massage has been an absolute g-dsent. I no longer wake up with horrible headaches from clinching my jaw all night and I can open and close my jaw without the horrible noises. If you have TMJ, please, please go see Corey and get it taken care of, there is no reason to live with the pain, there FINALLY is a solution. Thank you, thank you. Corey and Candace are the most sanitary, professional, helpful, and friendly people I have ever met. I trust them completely and I am immediately put to ease when I walk through their place. Everything is immaculate, the beds and equipment are clean and they are always on time and ready to help out. They give great advice and are never pushy with their products or solutions. Most of the time I wish I could stay on the beds and sleep because I am so relaxed even when Corey is working her massage magic (no pain, no gain). I highly recommend InSymmetry. I have been to spa's all over northern and southern california and no where else will you find this type of friendly service combined with professional treatment and a more relaxing, clean and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very flexible with making appointments and willing to take last minute emergencies (which is helpful).

I have tried every massage therapist at this place and have enjoyed each massage. It is a comfortable atmosphere and everyone is SO friendly. I always leave feeling physically good and feel a sense of human connection. I give them two thumbs up :-)

i am a massage snob. i admit it. i travel all around the world and get great massages and i find this gem right in my own backyard. i am also the pickiest person when it comes to my massages. i only like deep tissue, and most therapists don't have the right techinique to get deep down into the muscles while still making it a relaxing and soothing experience. rhea is not one of these therapists. her technique was perfect for my finicky taste. all the tension in my muscles melted away and the added heat from the hot stones made the treatment oh-so heavenly! i will definitely be going back for more treatments - next round will be a combo massage-facial.

I've been to a lot of places in the City (including expensive Spas like Bliss) and all I have to say is that they have nothing on In-Symmetry! I just had my Deep Tissue/Zen Hot Rocks massage with Rhea and she was absoulutely AMAZING! Don't let her petite frame fool you, her hands are really strong and she knows exactly where all your pressure points are and how to massage the stress away. I will definitely be a regular at In-Symmetry. I HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommend them--especially Rhea!

Here it is ~ The Scoop. Candace’s Massage: WOW. What a strong little girl. Not only does she fix the issue at hand but she makes you feel as though you have just gone through a re-birthing experience and life is fresh and good again. Rhea’s Massage: Candace was booked, had to go to Rhea. I was not going to see her with high expectations. Blew me away. She is different than Candace but just as good. Her hands are a lot more fluid and she sends you away where Candace keeps you pretty present. Corey’s Facials: Worth the wait, Her hands make not only the oil melt but every muscle in your face melts, becomes butter under her hands, lifts, blah blah blah blah blah. And those blah’s are all spectacular, amazing adjectives. Love the products! June '06 I am back to finish my review. Products: Making my skin better and better each day. Was not sure about them at first, grown to be obsessed with my vitamin c & e now. Marilyn: the newest of the bunch. She is awesome. Her touch is totally different than Candace and Rhea. She has a Thai Massage background. Holistic and focused on your systems. For instance, my back was hurting and she worked on my stomach. Back pain gone. She is like the eastern doctor of the bunch. I will be back as soon as I try McCoy.

Candace was very good at knowing the perfect pressure level. I have come to believe that this type of therapy is very important, and I am so happy to have found a place in the city that offers really professional, affordable and awesome massage for a very affordable price. I also got a discount for being a member of KQED.

You know how you get hot and cold services at most places? I have never experienced a bad service here. I have been going to In-Symmetry for a year now (and just getting around to writing a review :-) and they are ALWAYS friendly, super helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. I have had massages with Candace, Rhea and Catherine. The owners, Corey and Candace, have really set the bar high on quality therapists. They make sure everyone is a very happy customer. This is so rare and a much lost quality in business owners these days. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I am a yoga afficianado, and this place is tops. I will bring my family here as they all do yoga also. The people are real friendly. The staff is knowledgable.

Never have I felt so taken care of from head to toe. Being a massage therapist and life coach for close to two decades, I often frequent other practitioners to both see what's out there, and treat myself. Boy, was I delighted with In-Symmetry. Not only is the care impeccable but the energy wisdom knowledge and kindness of Candace and Corey is unparalleled. Insymmetry really provides an amazing experience. The therapists are some of the best I have encountered anywhere; they go out of their way to really give your body the kind of treatment it needs. I found them while visiting the Bay Area awhile back, and I'll never go anywhere else!

I never thought I'd have good skin. As I entered my 30's, I finally started seeing the damage caused by eight years in Southern California as a beach bum. Within about 3 to 4 regular visits to Corey, my skintone had improved tremendously - I found myself with hydrated, healthy skin. Before my experience with InSymmetry, I had found getting facials to be a pretty stressful experience because of the hard push at the end to get you to buy products. I appreciate the fact that Corey didn't do this - she didn't scold me or make me feel bad about the products I had been using. Instead, she provided some great advice and sent me away with a few samples to try. What a difference her products make! I am now a loyal user and have had no complaints about my skin in months.

I received my first facial from Corey six months ago. I have been getting a monthly facial from her ever since. It has been in the back of my mind to write a review for her. Now I am finally getting to it. My skin is progressively getting better. I went in to see her with what seemed like terrible, aging skin and now I feel like I look so much more hydrated and my lines are slowly diminishing. Her face massage is unreal. It feels great and I can really tell the blood flow is such an important part of my skin’s healing. I never really understood what she meant by that but now I get it. I not only get it conceptually but I see the results. I am not sure if Corey needs more clients but if you have the opportunity, go see her. She is exceptional.

I Can Not say enough good things about this place. Corey and Candace are both so knowledgeable about their specialties. You know you are in good hands and perfectly taken care of from the time you walk in until the time you regretfully have to leave. I have full trust and respect for both of these women. They really do know what they are doing.....

Corey has the hands of a Goddess, I swear, she is the best facialist in San Francisco!!! I trusted her with my skin right away. She knows what she is talking about. I had such bad Rosacea. From her diligence and this fabulous product line, I have not seen Rosacea in six months. I used to go to the dermatologist but Corey’s treatments seem to be more effective. Corey is professional and answers all of my questions in a way no one else has. Obviously she loves what she does and is GREAT at it! Take it from me, a perfectionist, you have to see her.

Candace has the strongest hands I have ever felt. She gives the best sports massage. I am an avid cyclist and golfer. My swing has ver been better. She is great for my golf game! I don't know what she does but whatever it is it works!

I had a massage from Candace and I can honestly say it was the best deep tissue I have ever had and I have had alot of massage! Her hands are so strong and she is very detailed. When you are done with your massage you feel like every muscle on your body has been lengthen. She also uses rocks and they are wonderful! I highly recommended getting a massage from her.

Candace gives the most amazing massage. Every time I get a massage from her, I walk out floating on clouds. It is by no means fluffy.... We are talking deep tissue that follows those soothing stones. She is a true healer. Now Corey, she gives a facial like none other. Her product knowledge and skilled hands make the perfect combo. Extractions are great, massage is fabulous and the products leave your skin feeling great for days. I highly recommend the restructuring facial. It is like manual botox.... It is hilarious! I give Candace and Corey a 10.0. My favorite day of the month is to get the massage and facial combo. You should try it!

I went to see Corey for the TMJ release, since I've been clenching my jaw for years now and it was starting to hurt. This is not a painless treatment but oh my goodness! My jaw is aligned better than it was! I'm going back for follow up because it is amazing. My jaw feels like the ball bearings got lubed up!

I am so impressed with these girls. The massage I received from Julia was one of the best massages I have ever had!! Julia's hands are amazing. She knows exactly where to go on your body...it is like the knots are talking to her and then....the facial I received from Corey made my face feel firm and lifted for weeks! I love In-Symmetry! I feel like I finally found what I am been looking for!

I just had my first facial with Corey, and my skin looks and feels amazing. Great space, great atmosphere, very friendly...no high pressure sales. I can't say enough. If you're going to the snooty spas downtown, you're missing out. I feel like I just made a new friend!

I have had TMJ for three years. I never thought I was going to get out of pain. I was scrolling around Citysearch to find a good place to get a facial and stubbled across In-Symmetry. Not only did I get an amazing facial but I began my series of TMJ treatments. I am pain free today! I am so grateful and can not express the freedom I have from waking up and not feeling my sore jaw or tender teeth. I used to clench while driving... no more! I can not say enough good things about this treatment.

I was battling with a bad TMJ problem for over two years. I went to Dr’s, Dentists and even tried cranial sacral therapy. I have spent so much time and money on trying to find relief. My first TMJ therapy session was AMAZING, to put it mildly. It was slightly painful but nothing like the pain I have been living with for the past two years. I actually walked away for the first time in two years feeling NO Pain. I couldn’t believe it. The following week I got a facial from her and she included the TMJ therapy. Okay people, no one can do a facial like this! The facial massage is out of this world. Between the massage, hot &cold stones, you forget you exist while you are receiving it. I hope this helps others get out of pain. Thank you Corey for all of your help!

I've never been so relaxed and comfortable as in the presence of Candace and Corey. The atmosphere feels clean and sterile yet homey. The several hot rock massages I've receive from Candace have been perfect. That slight girl has strong hands! She is an expert in knowing exactly where I need work and I always feel rejuvinated after a session. Days after Corey's facials I still receive comments of how my skin is glowing. The products she uses are wonderful and her knowledge and enthusiasum of skin care makes the facial both fun and relaxing. As a added bonus, each time I visit Insymmetry I learn something new to benefit my own body.

What a little slice of heaven in the city! Candace's hands and wonderful hot rocks are soothing and skilled, as is her friendly, calming presence. I love that there are cats lurking about to greet you in the bright, sunny, clean reception area. So conveniently located, so easy to park, but really worlds away once you are inside!

I have had many massages in my life, but have never had such a wonderful experience as I have with Cory and Candace! The atmosphere is calm and spritual as is their work and demeanor. The facial service was custom tailored to me, and my skin was positively glowing. The hot stone therapy is a soothing addition to the massage, and the tmj release is something that everyone should expeience! I have already recommended it to several friends, and they have thanked me many times over. I can't say enough good things about these girls, they truly are gifted! Thank you for making me feel like a new person!

You truly have not experienced hands like those girls before. This dynamic duo just knows how to pick you up, put you back together and send you off feeling like a million $$$$. I am a VERY picky person. In two years I have never walked away from a massage or facial feeling unsatisfied! Although I would like it to start all over again once it is done..... Love you girls!!!!

Ive been seeing Candice for massage and its change my life. Im a hairsylist and I thought I wasnt going to be able to continue working my body was hurting all the time,now that im getting regular massages I feel great! Ill be working for many more years to come. Cori does my facials and she does an amazing job. Her knowlege of skin is incredible,and you havent had a face massage until youve had one from her. Best of all I can get my massage and facial in one place. thanks for changing my life!!! karen

My facial with Corey was amazing. I clench my jaw and have constant headache’s. In the facial the jaw release was so effective in releasing all tension in my face. What a relief and you really do see a face-lift effect from it. Amazing. Putting aside the facial massage, the facial itself was great. I have had many facial treatments before, but I have never had so many comments on how fresh and healthy my skin looked, as after my treatment at In-Symmetry.

This is definitely a place a dancer (me!) would go to get a really GREAT massage. I was very relieved to discover In-Symmetry last year. They are skilled, resourceful and well-educated. They are genuine and friendly...not fake. Every massage I have had has been effective and purposeful, not spa-like. The environment is small, private,comfortable and clean. Their services do not waist your time and they making sure you are one happy and satisfied customer every single time you go.

Wow!!! My friend bought me a gift certificate for a facial and let me tell you that was a fantastic gift. Corey was so knowledgeable and the jaw release was amazing... I have never had anyone release the tension in my face like that. The hot and cold stones on my face were incredibly invigorating and relaxing all at the same time. All of my senses became alive at once. I felt like I had gone on vacation! Afterwards my skin looked so clean, hydrated and felt so baby soft. Now this is my new favorite monthly ritual...
